LOCATION Spokane Valley High School

 

SCHEDULE  8.0 hours/day, 260 days/year

M-F: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (4/10 schedule during school break periods)

 

SALARY  Level 2 Custodian - M&O Salary Schedule

Hourly rate is dependent on verified experience.

Pay is annualized over 12 months

SUMMARY

The Head Custodian & Small Equipment Repair position is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, cleanliness, general maintenance, and safety of the school facility, as well as the maintenance and repair of small equipment. This role ensures that building systems and equipment function efficiently, and performs routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs. The position also manages supplies, supports building security, and maintains safe, clean, and well-functioning indoor and outdoor environments to support school operations.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

As provided by PSE contract.  Subject to the needs of the district

 

 

 

Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed before employment commences. The successful candidate for this position must complete a fingerprinted background check with the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Employment is contingent upon clearnace of the background check.

SICK LEAVE - All regular, non-substitute employees receive 12 sick leave days (prorated based on FTE) and paid time off. Substitute employees receive sick leave per RCW 49.46.210.
