SUMMARY

The Instructional Paraeducator plays a pivotal role in providing evidence-based student support in reading foundational skills, ELA & or math. The position is highly specialized in that ongoing training is required within a MTSS model. Student goals are revisited often, and student monitoring of growth is expected. Multiple adults are involved daily in some instances, which requires flexibility and communication.

PAID TIME OFF - All regular, non-substitute employees receive paid time off, including annual and/or vacation leave. Paid time off varies by position and work year. Refer to the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement or salary schedule for details.

Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed before employment commences. The successful candidate for this position must be fingerprinted. Employment is contingent upon clearance by the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
